He was born in Kizyl-Arvat, Turkmenistan in 1906.
From 1927 to 1931 he studied at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute.
Since 1937 he illustrated books for Goslitizdat of the Uzbek SSR, for the publishing houses such as Ash Guards, Tashkent, etc.
He drew cartoons on political and everyday topics for the Tashkent newspapers including Pravda Voboka, Kizil Uzbekiston, the Mushtuk magazine.
During the Great Patriotic War, the artist worked on agitation posters and created a number of interesting pages in collaboration with the artist I. I. Ikramov.
Since 1969, he is an Honored Artist of the Uzbek SSR.
Member of the USSR Artists Union.
