Born in 1949. Free artist. He came to the cartoon drawing from the animation. His first comic drawings were published in 1972 in the Picker and in the weekly Sirp I Vasar. He was published in local and foreign media including the collection “Diamonds Finder” (Tallinn, 1980), in the catalogs of exhibitions “Nobody jokes about the winners”,”Homo sapiens “(Vilnius, 1984),” What’s so funny?”, etc. He took part in international exhibitions in Tallinn, Moscow, Leningrad, Vilnius, Tokyo, Knokke-Heist, Marostic and Skopje. He was awarded with the Silver Tooth prize in Vilnius (“Homo sapiens” exhibition, 1981, 1984), the second prize in the international native cartoon exhibition in Skopje (1982), an incentive prize (1980) and the prize for the best work (1981) in the international cartoon competition in Tokyo. He participated in republican and all-union (1983) watercolor exhibitions. He believes that draw a cartoon is much easier than cut it out, for example, from granite or embroider it on cloth.
