Cartoonist, animation director, animator, illustrator, book designer

Born in 1942 in Moscow. Graduated from art faculty of Moscow Textile Institute.
His first cartoon was published in “Literaturnaya Gazeta” at the end of 60-s. He has successfully used his sense of humour in illustrating classics, in animated cartoon creation and in stage design of drama and puppet shows.

The holder of several dozens of various prizes and awards of international competitions, including such weighty ones as Gabrovo festival «Zolotoy Ezop» «Grand Prix», «Zolotoy Andrey» from Verchelly, «Zolotoy phinik» and premium of Bordigierra festival European Council.

Also he got a premium of prestige “Premio Satire Politics” festival, which one is awarded on the basis of total achievements at the international market of humour. Bronze prize-holder of the Festival «Zolotoy Ostap» (1991).

At present he is the editor of the magazine «Merry pictures for the adults».
