The “inventor” of the theme for the cartoon. A creative person, especially widely used in the Crocodile magazine and other republican satirical publications of the Soviet period, able to come up with a sharp satirical plot for the “performer” – a professional graphic artist who does not always know how to invent his own plots. In turn, the “temist” was not always able, being a self-taught artist, to realize his own idea at a high artistic level, which was the requirement of the editorial board. “Temist” received 40% of the fee and until the early 90s of the 20th century, his name was put under the drawing as the author of the topic.
