In 1985 he tried to start an army career in the Perm Higher Command Military School of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the USSR.

From 1986 to 1988 he served in the Far East, where he “got infected” with journalism, starting writing in the army newspaper “The Battle Flag”.

He graduated from the Leningrad State University, Faculty of Journalism (1988 – 1993).
In 1988-1990 I tried to organize a Press Museum in St. Petersburg, on the basis of a personal collection of newspapers.
In 1988 – 1991 he worked as a correspondent for the North-West Military District newspaper “On Guard of the Motherland”.
From 1992 to 1994 he worked as deputy. chief editor of the computer magazine “READ.ME”.
In 1995, the chief editor of the newspaper “MAGIC PAPER”, an advertising and information supplement to the newspaper “Nevskoe vremya”.
From 1995 to 1998, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “World Collector” and director of the publishing house of the security magazine “BDI”.
In 1999, he was editor of the newspaper “Private Real Estate” for six months.

Since August 1999 – editor-in-chief of the educational and entertainment newspaper “Apelsin”.
He published two books of cartoons “On the scraps of the papyrus of life” (1994) and “Window to the World” (1995), the author of catalogs “Metro plastic travel cards” (1997), “Russia’s Phone Cards” (1998). ), “Catalog of transport tokens of Samara”.
Under his editorship was released the album “Awards of New Russia” (1997).
He was awarded jubilee medals.
Hobby: collecting plastic cards (telephone, banking, transport, metro, etc.).
