Cartoonist

He was born on July 23rd, 1939 in Boldesti, Prahova county. He received his education at the Institute of Fine Arts named after him, Nicolae Grigorescu in Bucharest. Personal exhibitions took place in Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara and Antwerp. Since 1978, 13 monographs on his work have appeared. He published two albums of cartoons: in 1982 in Bucharest and in 1983 in Tokyo. It is regularly published in the Romanian press, especially in “Urzika”. He has 26 prizes at home and abroad, including the silver medal in Knokke-Heist (Belgium, 1979), two prizes in Tokyo (1980, 1984). Member of the Union of Artists of the RAF.
