Sivtsevich Vladimir



Born April 28th 1972 in Lipetsk, Russia.
Lived and worked in New Zealand and Serbia as graphic designer, illustrator and cartoonist. Currently based in Belgrade, Serbia.
Since 1997 selected for group exhibitions in Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland, Italy, Iran, Israel, Korea, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Turkey and Serbia.
After couple of years focusing more on graphic design and digital art, returns competing on international cartoon and illustration contests. Awards: 1997 – 5th Prize at International Festival in Daejon, Korea; 1998 – Special Prize of Exellence in Haifa, Israel; 2000 – 2nd Prize in Cartoon Salon Sabac, Serbia; 2002 – Special Merit, Sternberk, Czech Republic. Recognitions: 1998 – presented in book Who is who in Serbian humour by Milovan Vrzina; 1999 – published a book of cartoons Glassballs; Published cartoons and illustrations in Finnish magazine Kulttuurivihkot; 2000-2002 – presented in Catalogo Expofanzines, a Spanish comics & illustrators catalogues & at website of the biggest comics bookstore in Europe Lambiek; 2004 – selected by International Cartoonfestivals juries as only cartoonist from New Zealand in Belgium (Knokke-Heist), Italy (13th Humourfest Comune Di Foligno) and Turkey (XXI Aydin Dogan Vakfi). 2009 – Group exhibition – International Biennal Mashhad – Iran, 2010 – selected for following group exhibitions: Satyrykon Legnica – Poland, II Biennal of Humour “Luis D’Oliveira Guimaraes” – Portugal, 6th International Cartoon Biennale Lubben, Germany…
