Alexander Saruhan is an Armenian-Egyptian caricaturist.

He was born in Batumi. He received his primary education in Batumi, later in Mkhitaryan College in Istanbul. In the 1920 – 1923 gg. collaborated with the humorous magazine “Gavroche” (Istanbul).
It is considered the founder of the Egyptian caricature school, among his followers – the Arabic charts Rakht, Abdel Sagim, etc.

Was awarded international awards.
The author of a number of humorous works, comedy “We do not know the Armenian language”.
