Framing the text in a cartoon (comics), in the form of a closed linear-dashed form, the acute-angled tongue of which indicates a speaker or thinking character. The most commonly used forms of the “bubble” are an oval, a cloudy oval and an oversized rectangle.
A prestige among cartoonists is the plastic form of the “bubble”, characteristic for its individual creative manner.
