Born in 1931 in Ranchuelo.
Starting with a self-taught drawing for advertising, Prado became one of Cuba’s most famous graphic artists.
For twenty years  Prado has created a huge number of caricatures devoted to the most important international events. For a number of years, his political drawings have been published in the newspaper Granma, in many foreign newspapers. Prado was repeatedly awarded at the National Salon of Humor “Oracio Rodriguez Suria” and at many other competitions.
