He was a French cartoonist. He died on January 7, 2015, during the January 2015 shooting attack on the Charlie Hebdo newspaper office. Honoré was a staff cartoonist at Charlie Hebdo.

Honoré’s first credits came in 1984. In addition to Charlie Hebdo, Honoré had work published in Sud-Ouest, Libération, Le Monde, Les Inrockuptibles, La Vie ouvrière, Charlie Mensuel, Le Matin, and Expressen.

He was among five cartoonists assassinated on 7 January 2015, during the shooting attack on the Charlie Hebdo newspaper office.

The last cartoon tweeted by Charlie Hebdo minutes before the attack was an illustration by Honoré of the ISIS leader, Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, offering formal New Year wishes.
