Cartoonist, caricaturist

One of the most famous and respected cartoonists in Romania, a member of the Romanian Association of Professional Caricature since 2006, and since 2008 — a member of the International Association of Fine Arts of Germany UNESCO. He has participated in many national and international festivals of painting and caricature, and his works are in private collections in Romania and abroad.

The artist’s cartoons are exhibited in art museums in Australia, USA, Los Angeles, Iran, France, Italy, Germany, China, Japan, Bulgaria, Belgium, Greece.

In 2013, the cartoonist donated 4 works worth 15,000 euros to a charity event for children with health problems and the poor.

In 2004, Gogu got into the Guinness Book of Records for the first time, making 131 cartoons on the phone without ever seeing the subject.

Gogu got into the Guinness Book of Records for the second time, drawing 1,200,000 images of celebrities and politicians on 12 rolls of 36-millimeter film 2 km long and weighing 3 tons.
