He was born on June 24, 1954 in Minsk. Graduated from the Belarusian State University, Faculty of Philology.
The first caricature was published in 1973 in the newspaper Znamya Yunosti (Belorussia).
In 1989 he moved to Moscow.
Participant of the International Exhibition in Gabrovo (Silver Necklace) (1979).
Since 1978 he worked as an artist on a regularly base in the newspapers: Izvestia, Novye Izvestia, Kommersant.
Contributed to the national papers such as: “Russian cadet”, “Moscow time”.
Since 1983 cooperated with the magazine “Crocodile”.
He released three collections of his cartoons: “Images without images” (Minsk), “Roles perform”, “Unknown acquaintances” (Moscow).
Held four solo exhibitions.
His works are kept: in the Washington Caricature Museum; in the Swiss Caricature Museum (Basel); in the private collections of America and Germany.
A member of the Moscow Union of Artists.
