He was born on May 14, 1909. In 1933 he graduated from the Kharkov Art Institute. All his creative life was associated with the Peretz magazine.
Glivenko illustrated many satirical books and collections.
Member of the USSR Artists Union. Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR.
