He was born on June 5, 1919 in Leningrad.
1941 he graduated from the Saratov State University.
1944-1945 he lived and worked in Leningrad.
1947-1952 he lived and worked in Kharkov.
1952-1958 he lived and worked in Alma-Ata.
1956 he became a member of the USSR Artists
Since 1958 he lived and worked in Kazan.
In 2004 he died in Kazan.
