Cartoonist

Diaz Miguel was born in 1948 in Cienfuegos.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Higher Party School “Niko Lopez”.
For several years, Mige was the leader of the Union of Young Communists in the central provinces of Cuba.
Mige discovered early the outstanding abilities of the humorist artist, although he did not receive a special artistic education. His career as a cartoonist, he began in the humorous weekly Melaito. Since 1979, he lives in Havana, where he leads the satirical weekly “DDT”.
