He was born on May 4, 1948 in  Kaunas.
1966-1973 studied graphics at the Vilnius Art Institute (now the Academy of Fine Arts).
1980 — until now is a member of the Lithuanian Artist’s Association.
Lives and works in Vilnius.

He does etching, painting, ex-libris, posters, book illustrations, cartoons.
Since 1970 he’s been participating in various exhibitions in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, USA, Canada, France, Australia. His works have been purchased by the Vilnius Art Museum, Kaunas M.K. Čiurlionis Art Museum, Del Bello gallery in Toronto (Canada), The Humor and Satire Museum in Gabrovo (Bulgaria) and a collectors from various countries. The artist held 30 solo exhibitions of paintings and graphics. Participated in more than 200 group exhibitions in different countries.

He won 34 awards for the graphic works. Main awards:
– The first prize at the International Graphic Biennale of Moldova (2013);
– The Sint-Niklaas City Award for the best ex-libris in the Sint-Niklaas International Ex-libris and Small Graphic Contest (Belgium, 2009);
– The prize in the Sun and Moon Argentine International Ex-libris Competition organized by Claudio Leon Sempere Museum (2004).
