The Diogenes Taborda Museum of Graphic and Written Humor was founded on September 21, 2003 by the Volpe Stessens Cultural Foundation with the aim of regularly organizing temporary exhibitions, individual or group in museums, cultural centers, universities, colleges and NGOs. from all countries of the world who are interested in getting to know the world of art. international graphic humor.
The museum’s collection is constantly growing thanks to the annual donations of artists participating in the Mercosur International Competition for the Diogenes Tabord Prize (an award that I have been organizing by the Volpe Stessens Cultural Foundation for 25 years) and donations of works by artists, institutions, collectors from both Argentina and other countries. from the rest of the world. The works that are included in the museum’s heritage from year to year are works donated by artists from more than 80 countries.
